Carolina has experience in domestic and international arbitration proceedings, corporate and oil-and-gas disputes, multi-jurisdictional matters, pre-arbitration litigation, and strategic advice involving distressed assets, restructurings, and control disputes.
She is also engaged in academic and institutional projects related to arbitration and technology, including the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, the Moot Alumni Association, and the Brazilian Law and Technology Moot Court Competition (CoDiTech Moot), of which she is a founding member. Carolina holds a law degree from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law from FGV-SP, and an LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement and Arbitration from Leiden University, the Netherlands (cum laude). She also attended an academic exchange program at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Germany.
