Ana Paula de Almeida

Ana Paula has more than 20 years of experience handling complex civil and corporate disputes and plays a key role in developing strategies for the firm’s most complex disputes, carefully assessing the advantages and risks of each course of action. She advises clients on a wide range of corporate litigation matters, including disputes involving shareholders’ agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and breaches of non-compete obligations, as well as pre-litigation risk assessment and strategy.

She also has extensive experience in enforcement proceedings, particularly representing creditors, as well as in asset and estate planning. Before joining MATTAR, Ana Paula practiced at Pinheiro Guimarães Advogados, Dias e Pamplona Advogados, and Rodrigues Barbosa Mac Dowell de Figueiredo Advogados, always focusing on civil litigation. Ana Paula holds a Law degree and a postgraduate degree in Comparative Civil Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Sao Paulo (PUC-SP).
